Hoffe Village - historical center (No. 4, 6)

Class Type A.2

Date: second half of 17th Century

Catalog 8.02

House built according to a traditional plan with E-W cross-sectional corridor, datable with great probability to the middle of the 17th century. Over time the building has undergone some renovation but its original structural traits have remained virtually intact. Two side sections of the balcony, on the SW and SE corners, have been enclosed with wooden siding to obtain two small rooms (géd(e)nle), according to the custom. Such modification presumably took place in the 1800s.
