Class Type A.2-Ell(E/W)p(N)

Date: 1733/1734

Catalog 15.14

House originally built according to a classic plan and subsequently modified. Its current complex shape is due to the side and back additions and to the asymmetry of the Northern part of the building. On the first floor, there is still the original kitchen/smoke-room with its hearth-stone (hičrt, or óffnsvŕir). The kitchen is equipped with a double aeration system and the only surviving chimney to still reach the outside piercing sideways through the wall.
